Obituary
Daniel Bryan Ballenger, 59, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on April 6, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on June 27, 1963 in Madison, Indiana , son of Louis Edward Ballenger and Annie Lou (Parker) Ballenger. Daniel retired from a career in the financial services industry as an equity sales trader in Germany. He was a United States Army veteran serving active duty in Bosnia in the early 90's. He loved IU Basketball, camping, cooking, and traveling the world. Daniel was beloved by family and friends near & far.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Edward Ballenger and his wife Kimberly Ballenger. He is survived by his children; Jenny (Ralf Raschke), Alex , Michael, Denise ; two grandchildren, Elias and Emil Raschke; mother, Annie Lou Ballenger; brothers, Eric Ballenger (Leslie), Steven Ballenger(Rachel).
Cremation was chosen and entrusted with Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1-5pm with a short memorial service at 4:30 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130
