Cynthia "Cyndi" Gayle Perkins-Hargis

Cynthia Perkins-Hargis, 61, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on July 20, 2025 surrounded by all that she deeply loved and cherished. Cyndi loved her family, especially her nieces and nephew. The last 9 years on this earth has not been a very graceful journey but she always had patience and kindness for everyone in her life.

She always enjoyed her time with Alisa and enjoyed where they would face time with Jerry. Cindy cherished her best friend and hospice caregiver, Sonja Smith, she always made Cyndi feel beautiful with her painted nails and beautiful hair and was Truly Cynthia’s Guardian Angel.

The little things in life was all she had and how she enjoyed countless hours of watching The Hallmark Channel. I cannot begin to thank all her wonderfull nurses at Gentiva Hospice ( to many to mention all were her guardian angels). The Chaplin , George was her best buddy, the staff, nurses, aides at Green Valley Care Center where very compassionate, professional and amazing. As we carry on with are busy life’s, please make sure we always make time for all the loved ones still on this earth.

Cyndi is survived by her sister; Alisa Wolfe(Mark); brother, Jerry Jones(Wanda); nephew, Alan Wolfe; nieces, Megan Elmore(Mike), Jessica McGowan(David); along with 4 great nephews, 4 great nieces and a host of cousins and friends who loved her. She is also survived by special friends, Marlyn and Rick Traugher.

Alisa would like to personally thank all her friends & family that stood beside them and showed love and support unto Cyndi until her last day.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 4-6pm at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 with service to follow at 6pm.

After the service we would like to invite everyone to join in a celebration dinner hosted at 300 Spring St, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130, by Gina Loven and friends to thank everyone who has made this journey special.
