Craig Lamont Davey, 54, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on August 27, 2024, at Clark Memorial Hospital. Born on October 17, 1969 , in Jeffersonville, Indiana, son of Georgia Ann (Davey) Conley and Marvin Hardin.
Craig was a dedicated factory worker at Kitchen Kompact, where he contributed his skills and commitment to the job he cherished. His strong Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through both good times and challenges.
An avid cook and grill master, Craig delighted in sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. His love for food was matched only by his passion for spending time with his loved ones, where his warm presence and infectious laughter created cherished memories.
In his free time, Craig could often be found riding his bicycle, a hobby that brought him immense joy and allowed him to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. He was also a big Uof L basketball fan and loved playing and watching the game. His spirited approach to life and his love for outdoor adventures were a testament to his full and vibrant nature.
In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his son, Craig Davey Jr.; brothers, Marvin and Mabrin Davey. He is survived by his children; Elijah Davey and Mariah Moore; brothers, Shawn Davey(Michelle); Jeffery Conley Davey (Dana) grandson, Roman; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10-1pm with service to follow at House of Refuge Community Church, 1858 E. 8th St. Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
