Courtney M. Beasley, 34, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 11, 2022.
She was born October 24, 1987 in Louisville, Kentucky to Melvin Fredrick and Valerie L. (Dorsey) Beasley. Courtney received her early education in the Jefferson County School System and graduated from Louisville Male High School in 2006. She attended the University of Kentucky and loved her Wildcats.
Courtney was a former member of Shiloh Baptist Church and accepted Christ at a young age. As a adult, she joined New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Courtney married in 2015 and acquired 3 beautiful children, she cherished immensely. She was a dedicated worker for the Ford Motor Truck Plant for many years and just completed a Construction Program with the Louisville Carpentry Union, with dreams of starting a business with her son. She was a former team member of the Derby City Dynamite Women's Football Alliance and pledged to Omega Pi Psi fraternity.
Courtney shared a passion for traveling with her family and was very adventurous. She enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, riding her motorcycle and working out.
Courtney is preceded in death by her loving father, Melvin Beasley; and her brother, Nichquolas Beasley.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving wife, Tiffany M. (Cook) Beasley; her children, Keauna Dobson (Brandon), Kelsey and Kaden Baker; her mother, Valerie Beasley; brother, Melvyn Simmons; grandmothers, Oreada Taylor and Anna Beasley; a grand-daughter on the way, Malia Mae Elise Dobson; honorary grand-daughter, Londyn Reign; her fur baby, Tyson and her grand fur baby, Molly; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Courtney will be greatly missed. Always loved and cherished forever.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at noon at the funeral home.
