Claude Franklin Hall, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Glen E. and Nancy A. Young Hall, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 29, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family.
Claude was a devoted father to his daughters, Vanna, Megan (Joshua), and Amanda, and a cherished grandfather to his 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Glenora L. Texas, Katrina Phelps, and Randy Hall, along with 3 nieces and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred E. Hall, and sisters Janeice Brodus and Edwina L. Hall.
Claude served his country honorably in the United States Army. He found joy in life's simple pleasures—shooting pool, playing cards, fishing, and golfing—and he cherished his quiet time with the Lord. He will be remembered for his warmth, strength, and the love he showed to his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Funeral services in honor of Claude’s life will be celebrated at the conclusion of visitation, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In accordance with his wishes, the family will honor Claude with cremation following his service.
