Christina L. Ater, 56, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on September 16, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.
She was born on August 9, 1969, in Michigan. Christina was a hardworking and dedicated employee of Indiana Bottle Company, where she built lasting friendships and took pride in her work.
An outdoors enthusiast, Christina found joy in nature—especially fishing, a favorite pastime. She was also a regular at bingo nights at the Knights of Columbus and a proud member of the ABATE Motorcycle Club, where she found community and camaraderie.
Above all, Christina cherished time with her family and was known for her big heart and vibrant spirit. She was never far from her two loyal fur baby companions, Molly and Leah, who brought her great comfort and joy.
Christina is survived by her two sons; Kenneth and Christopher Ater; father, Alvin Wilson; mother, Diana Ring; sister, Evelyn Richardson; brothers, Henry Kobel, Kent Wilson, Kurt Wilson; 3 grandchildren, Bryce and Sierrah Ater, Jay Zollman; along with her best friend, Marchelle Draper and many friends and extended family.
