Cecil Lee Pepper

Cecil Lee Pepper, 61, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born in Louisville on May 14, 1961. Cecil was a goofy and spontaneous man, he loved making others smile. He understood that investing in his community was important, and spent much of his personal time helping older folks with odd jobs they could no longer do themselves. Cecil also loved working on cars and playing good music, like Elvis and any classic country songs. He didn’t let being born in Louisville stop him from bleeding blue for his UK Cats. Cecil loved his family very much, and he will be sorely missed by every life his kindness and smile touched.

Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Marcella Knowles.

Left to cherish his memory, Cecil leaves behind multiple children; his siblings, Brenda Winfrey, Stevie Knowles, Danny Knowles, Mary Ann Willock, Luellen Andress, and Mary Sue Aldridge; his nieces and nephew, Tonya Winfrey, James Winfrey, and Haley Knowles; his grandchildren, and a host of extended friends and family.

A funeral service for Mr. Cecil Lee Pepper will be held on Thursday, July 21, 20221 at 7:00 P.M. at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Boulevard. Visitation will be before the funeral service from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
