Cassandra Mitsy (Ruddock) Coleman

Cassandra Mitsy Coleman, affectionately called “Mitsy” or “Cassie”, age 47 passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on February 13, 1977, to Alvie Walter Ruddock, and Winsome Bennett in Welcome District, Glen Islay, Westmoreland, Jamaica. Cassandra was a loving mother, sister, aunt, fiancée, daughter and friend. She was a beautiful and passionate devoted Christian woman, whom a re-committed her life at Northside Church of Christ. Cassandra loved helping people, and always strive to share positive advice while creating a positive outcome as well, as she would lead individuals down the right path. She was a quiet and very laid back individual who enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life. In her spare time, Cassandra could be found watching her favorite Country Western Movies, Church programs online as well as YouTube Videos. She never lacked having her Spiritual Devotions and listening to deep Spiritual Gospel songs as one of her latest favourites was, In Christ Alone. She would not stop at perfecting her passion for cooking and her love for Breadfruit, there was never a gathering that involved cooking that she wasn’t a part of. There was an infectious laughter that would come from her that would gravitate you to laugh as well. To know Cassandra is to love her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cassandra is preceded in death by the mother, Winsome Bennett. Left to cherish her memory, Cassandra is survived by her son, Caswayne Porter; 7 siblings, Desmond Ruddock, Donovan Ruddock, Anthony Ruddock, Karene Ruddock, Sharnett Ruddock, Felix Brown and Orene Ruddock; Father, Alvie Ruddock; fiancé, Felix Kofi; best friend, Karen Hall; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of extended family and close friends.
