Carolyn Kay Vest

Carolyn Kay Vest, 79 , of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at her home. She was born on September 13, 1942 in Jeffersonville, Indiana daughter of the late Roy and Katherine Ward. Carolyn was a wonderful caregiver and homemaker and Christian by faith. She enjoyed a good yard sale, playing bingo and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Vest; son, Tony Scott; sister, Mary Stoeth; granddaughter, Brittany Lopez. Carolyn is survived by her children; Howard Scott(Lisa), Debbie Ransdell(Jim), Allan Scott(Michelle), Rick, Mike, Gary Scott, Kathy Swallows(Ronnie), Frank Vest(Brenda), Leonard Vest(Jeanie), Carol Cahill(Gary), Bruce Vest, Matt Vest(Carrie), John Vest(Kim); niece, Julie Fulkerson(Frank); along with 32 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 4-8pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11am with visitation before from 9-11 at Legacy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
