Carolyn Ann Mayes

Carolyn Ann Mayes, 61, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on December 20, 2021. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at House of Refuge Community Church, 1858 E. 8th Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11 Am to 1 PM on Thursday at the church. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances “Maye Frances” Mayes; father, Cornelius “Dump” Fields; son, Carlos Baker; and siblings, George Mayes and Brenda Kay Mayes.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Winston Baker; daughters, Tangela Garner, Katrina Baker, and Brittany Baker; siblings, James Nelson, Charles Mayes, Joe Mayes, Rose Mayes, Annetta Sue Thomas, Desha Green, Lavonda Orndoff, Denise (Fields) Gibson, Ashley Burr, Delvin Fields, Darnell Fields, Dietrick Fields, Damon Fields, and James Burr; grandchildren, De’Ja, De’Jon, Jamond, Jaedyn, Ta’Layza, Davontrea, Ja’Neya, Brintan; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
