Carol Ann Fish, age 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 4, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1945, to the late Lindsey Humphrey and Helen Sherrard Ray. Carol was a graduate of Presentation Academy and a long-time member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Louisville, KY.
Carol shared a deep love for her community and her family. She and her late husband, Edward Fish, were proud members of the Ohio Valley Corvette Club, where they created lasting friendships and cherished memories.
An avid lover of life, Carol had a passion for photography, scrapbooking, gardening, and spending time with her loved ones. She found joy in shopping and traveling, always seeking out new experiences and sharing them with those she held dear.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward; her mother, Helen Sherrard Ray; father, Lindsey; stepfather, Paul Ray; her brother, Gary Humphrey; and her niece, Shelby Perry.
She is survived by her sister, Barbie Beaver; brothers, Mike Humphrey (Ann) and Bill Humphrey (Michelle); nieces, Kelly King (Robert) and Dana Humphrey (Richard); nephews, David Humphrey and Kyle Perry; and great-nieces, Kaley and Stevie.
Special thanks are extended to Carol's cousins, Linda Sherroan and Kenneth Savage, whose care and support were greatly appreciated during her final days.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Legacy Chapel Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY 40215. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Louisville, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
