Carla Jan Hentrup

Carla Hentrup, age 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on March 10, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana, to Carl and Joanne Jackson.

Carla was a devoted homemaker and a loving caregiver to her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Carla had a passion for finding treasures at yard sales and enjoyed playing at the casino. She also had a love for adventure and cherished the freedom of riding motorcycles. Her vibrant spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Joanne Jackson; husband, John Hentrup; sisters, Connie Jackson, Kathy Ann Jackson; brother, Kevin Jackson.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Denton(Gordon); sisters, Kay Whitaker(Whit), Ronna Vermillion(Ed), Lisa Jackson(Greg); brother, Kim Jackson; along with 2 grandchildren, Amber Gordon(John), Gordon Jr.(Victoria); 6 great grandchildren, Kenseligh, Liam, Aliannah, John, Camden, Wesley.

There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 11-3pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St. Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130
