Brian Keith Paulley, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 16, 2024, at his home in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on August 18, 1975 to Franklin and Joan Paulley. Brian was a brilliant painter who was fascinating to watch work. He was quiet, and laid back but had a great sense of humor. Brian was very observant, and had a way with words. He loved his family deeply, and they were always his main inspiration. In his spare time, Brian loved to cook, cheer on his beloved Chicago Bears, travel to LA, and listen to all his favorite music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brian is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Lee Paulley; and his daughter, Molly Isabella Shelton.
Left to cherish his memory, Brian is survived by his fiancée, Pamela Worner; mother, Joan Turner Lovelace (David Hayes); 2 sons, Brandon, and Blake; 6 siblings, Michelle Buckley, Michael Buckley, Jennifer Priddy, Alicia & Samantha Stalkup, and Ronnie Buckley; 2 nephews, Devon Rayhuff, and Darren Lee Buckley; uncle, James Turner; aunt, Anna Mae Elliott; and a host of extended family and close friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Brian Keith Paulley will be held at 12 PM on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky, with burial at Fairview Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home, and from 10 AM to 12 PM, prior to the funeral service.
