Bonnie Jean (Corn) Smith

Bonnie Jean (Corn) Smith, 75, passed away, Friday, June 17, 2022 at home with her family by her side. 

Bonnie was born September 28, 1946 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky to the late Earl and Blanche (Shouse) Corn. She was a former secretary for Humana for 23 years , where she worked in the law office. She enjoyed penny poker night, going to the casino, dance, her U of L Cardinals, drives in the country, she said her best year was 2010, but her favorite times were spent with her family having cookouts. 

Besides her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her loving husband, James M. Smith; and two sons, John M. Smith and Donnie F. Bishop. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronnie E. Bishop (Melissa); daughter, Faith Dunaway (Jenny Miller); brother, Glenn Corn ( Rose Marie); special friend, Tolbert Milburn; grandson she helped raise, Jacob Bishop (Renee); nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 12:00 P.M.-8 P.M. and Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. . Funeral service will held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
