Bonnie S. (Smith) Aubrey

Bonnie S. Aubrey (Smith), 68, passed away, Saturday, July 23, 2022.

Bonnie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 21, 1954. She was a former bus driver for TARC. She enjoyed going to bingo, playing the slot machines and watching TV.

She was a member of Shawnee Baptist Church; she was strong in her faith and was a faithful prayer warrior for the Lord. She gave Him the credit for everything in her life. She loved in her own way and loved everyone; she would take people in to her home if they were in need and help them get back on their feet. Bonnie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Myrtle Smith; husband, Thomas L. Aubrey, Sr.; two sons, Mark D. and Donald R. Aubrey; four brothers, David and Joey Smith, Benny and Jerry Copley; sister, Dorothy Armstrong. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her four sons, Victor Aubrey, Thomas Aubrey, Jr. (Debra), James Aubrey (Julie) and Kenny Aubrey (Kim); two daughters, Donna Hutchinson (Chris), Tress Scott Young; two brothers, Bobby Smith (Dawn), Billy Smith; sister, Vickie Haddad (Joe); daughter in law, Mary Louks; two grandchildren she raised, Mark Daniel and Tory Smith; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with funeral services starting immediately at 2:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 22530 Sonora Hardin Springs Road, Hardin County, KY 42712.
