Bill Warren

Bill Warren, 88, passed November 4, 2023, at Baptist East Hospital.  He was born June 6, 1935, the son of John and Anna Warren. 

Bill attended DuPont Manual High School and later graduated from the University of Louisville.  Bill married Mary Louise Dean and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage.  After they married, they settled in Louisville, KY where Bill worked in the banking industry before his retirement.  They were long time members of the St. Matthews Baptist Church.  He was proud to be a member of the Kentucky Masons.  He was an avid University of Louisville fan and a member of the University Club of Louisville.

Anyone who knew Bill knew that he loved his visits to Florida and spending time on the beach.  Bill spoke of his love for the beach often.  He was either telling you about his last visit to the beach, or about his plans for his next trip there.    

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Mary and infant daughter Daphne, brothers Arthur, John Jr and sister, Dorothy. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Mike and his wife Laura, four grandchildren; Steven, his wife Kingsley and their three children Aeryonna, Kingston and Autumn; Andrea, her husband Brad and their three children Wren, Reed and Rhett; Joseph and Michael.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8 at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47130 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7 and again at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
