Beverly Ann Collins, age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William and Emma Mardis, Beverly was a lifelong resident who carried a warm heart, quick wit, and a deep devotion to her family throughout her life. She found simple joy in the everyday—filling in crossword puzzles with determination, nurturing her vegetable garden (and savoring its rewards), and chuckling along with episodes of Leave It to Beaver.
More than anything, Beverly treasured time spent with those she loved. Whether around the dinner table, in the backyard, or just sharing stories on the porch, she was happiest in the company of her family. She was a beloved wife, a devoted mother, a proud and adoring Nanny, and a cherished sister. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and unconditional love to all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Collins and David Collins; grandchildren, Ashley Hartman (Aramis), Dianna Hinds, and Zachary Saylor; great grandchildren, Natalie Hartman, Noah Hartman, Alex Hunt-Huff, Xavier Saylor, and Ruby Saylor; brothers, Raymond Mardis (Bobbi) and Eddie Mardis (Kathy).
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. until service time Friday, May 30, 2025, at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street – Jeffersonville. Funeral services in honor of her life will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at the funeral home, with burial to follow.
