Beth McLellan

Beth McLellan, 61, of Clarksville, Indiana, peacefully joined her best friend Jesus on March 15 at Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 24, 1963 in Mansfield, Ohio, to Gene and Charlene Carte. Beth was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, known for brightening others' lives with her kindness, warmth and laughter.

Beth was admired professionally for her work ethic and commitment but her true passion was her family. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren; seeing them, and her nieces and nephews grow up and build their own lives filled her with joy. She loved to study God's Word and attended church online as a member of the Glory of Zion. She loved to bird watch, journal, dance and play card games.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Charlene, her siblings, Lori Harrington and Steve Carte, and her husband, Chris McLellan.

She is survived by her children, Stephane Phillips (Terry), Dani Gohl(Chuck), and Andrew Gohl (Megan); her partner, Glen Stevens; grandchildren Halie, Raegan, Liam and Julianna, her brother-in-law and lifelong friend, Larry Harrington, her niece Jamie Arthur (Sam), and nephews Larry Jr. and Chris Harrington.

A celebration of Beth's life will be held at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 3-6pm with service to follow at funeral home.
