Barbara Elaine Jones, 78, entered Eternal Life Monday, July 8, 2024.
Barbara was born in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Bruce and Corrine Morris. She worked for many years taking care of the elderly and she will be remembered as a woman of incredible faith. She enjoyed her time spent nurturing her garden and raising her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Jones and their grandchild, Michael Solomon.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Solomon (Mike); son, Matthew Wisdom; granddaughter, Lacy Porter; great grandchildren, Carlee Solomon and Michael Stepp; and sister, Emma Culp.
The family has honored Barbara’s wish for cremation and her ashes will be reunited with her husband in Beaver Dam, Kentucky at a later date. Legacy Funeral Center – Jeffersonville has been entrusted with arrangements.
