Audrey M (Bloomer) Harper

Audrey M. Harper, 99, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on August 16, 1923, to the late Edward and Edna Bloomer in Louisville, Kentucky. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She loved spending time with her family, and taking care of her precious pets. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Edward and Edna Orms Bloomer, Audrey is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Harper; 7 siblings, William Bloomer, Frances Gullion, Juanita Allen, Robert Bloomer, Edward Bloomer, Regina Faye Bloomer, Evelyn Houston, and Les Bloomer.

Left to cherish her memory, Audrey leaves behind a daughter, Judy D. Devore; cousins, Walter Lee and Mary Lou Metzger; nephews, Mark and Jeff Mitchell; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A funeral service for Ms. Audrey M. Harper will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2023, at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, and prior to the service from 11 AM to 12 PM, at the funeral home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery will follow the service.
