Athalee Williams, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026. Born in Louisville to the late Lee and Myrtle Holcomb, Athalee was a proud native of the Portland neighborhood, a place she held close to her heart throughout her life.
Athalee will be remembered most for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was a cherished wife, a nurturing mother, and a proud grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. For 44 beautiful years, she shared a deep and enduring bond with her beloved husband, Richard Williams. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family.
She leaves behind to honor her memory her devoted husband, Richard; her loving daughter, Kathy Rhyne (James); her treasured grandchildren, Richard Durand, Timothy Miller, and Christopher Durand; and her dear siblings, Jerry, Rose, and Vicky. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
