Anthony "Tony" William Arbogast, Sr., 82, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025. Tony was a man who cherished the wonder of a simple life, finding immense joy in the love of his family and the beauty of the world around him.
He was born in Jordan Run, West Virginia to the late Bernie and Pauline Kleinhelter. Tony dedicated nearly four decades to the Louisville Ford Plant, where he worked from 1969 until his retirement in 2007. His hardworking spirit and unwavering dedication to his craft made him a respected colleague and friend to many.
Tony was known for his ability to turn strangers into friends with his warm smile and genuine conversation. His love of people was matched only by his love for his family and the serenity he found in his garden. Whether tending to his flowers or nurturing his vegetable patch, Tony's green thumb was a reflection of the care and devotion he brought to every part of his life.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jane Arbogast and their son, Tony Arbogast, Jr.
Surviors include his children, Mike Arbogast (Karen Schimschock) and Suanne Williams; and his grandchildren, Josie Stephens, Christopher Headley, and Austin Williams.
