Angela "Cherie" White, age 63, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025. She was born in Ft. Dix, New Jersey, to the late Donald Bagshaw and Janice Allen Bagshaw.
Cherie worked as a house cleaning supervisor for the Galt House for several years and was known for her caring and diligent work ethic. A woman of kindness, Cherie embodied the essence of being a "salt of the earth" person. She was the purest of souls, always radiating warmth and love toward those around her.
Cherie had a deep affection for people, birds, and animals, and she cherished the time spent with her partner, Steve. She also had an impressive memory for music, knowing the words to nearly every song ever written. Her joy for life and her love of nature, family, and friends will be dearly missed.
Cherie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Janice Bagshaw, and two brothers, Charlee Bagshaw and Tony Bagshaw.
She is survived by her beloved partner, Steve Fogle; sisters, Mandi Bagshaw, Donda Flores (Beau), and Charlyn Allen; her best friend, Cindy Hightower; nieces, Emily, Danielle, Haylee, and Avery; nephews, Jacob, Alex, and John; and great-niece, Riley.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 3:00 PM at the Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market St., Louisville, KY 40203. A funeral service will follow, with cremation to take place afterward.
Cherie will be forever remembered for her loving nature and the joy she brought to everyone’s life. May she rest in peace.
