Lucy B. Reed

Lucy B. Reed, 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.  She was a member of SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.  Lucy was a homemaker with many interests including reading, boating, collecting antiques, refinishing furniture and playing cards. Lucy enjoyed traveling with her husband and lifelong friends. She will especially be remembered for making her famous chicken and noodles every holiday for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph “Bobby” Reed and her daughter, Sharon Kincaid.

Lucy is survived by her sons, Michael (Vickey) Reed, Charles (Kathy) Reed, Richard (Lois) Reed and Brian Reed; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A private visitation will be on Monday, January 18, 2021, from 2pm-6pm, at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY.  A funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 10am at SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 4335 Hazelwood Avenue, Louisville, KY.

Burial will be at St. Andrew Cemetery.
