James Wesley Switzer

James Wesley Switzer, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021.  He was born to the late James F. and Zella Switzer on January 8, 1934.

James was a good-hearted friend. He loved his family dearly, including his five children, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was a proud member of Epworth United Methodist Church and retired from Protein Technologies International.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Terranova.

James leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Laura Phyllis (Sharp) Switzer; and his children Sandy (Dennis), Jimmy (D’Anna), Keith (Sherri), Paul (Teresa), and Charlie (Karen).

A funeral service for Mr. James Wesley Switzer will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 12 PM at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky 40215.  Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Burial at Resthaven Memorial Park will follow the service.
