Rebecca Lynn Scrogham-Hooker

Rebecca Lynn Scrogham-Hooker, 60, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 19, 1963 in Jeffersonville, Indiana daughter of Charles Smith and Martha Rogers.

Rebecca was a devoted homemaker that poured her heart into creating a warm environment to her family. Her joy knew no bounds when she was with her grandchildren, and they filled her heart with happiness. Rebecca’s adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, making memories through travel and enjoying the thrill of playing dice with her friends.

She was a master chef in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Pawz, her loyal canine companion, held a special place in her heart. An avid fan of both UK and Chiefs football, which brought her much joy in every game she watched.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hooker. She is survived by her children, Ryan Stewart(Shamron), Rachel Ortiz-Quirino(Hugo), Tabitha Scrogham, James Hooker, Tonya Smith, Holly Atack; brother, Eric Smith; sister, Janna Smith; along with 7 grandchildren, Kristopher, Aiden, Jovanny, Ximena, Ellie, Lydia, Todd, Justice.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 3-7pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 12pm with more visitation before from 10-12pm at Legacy Funeral Center.
