In Loving Memory of Glenn "Boo" Elliott
Glenn "Boo" Elliott, born on July 20, 1957, entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him, yet his spirit will forever live on in the memories he created and the lives he touched.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Oscar Sr. and Barbara Elliott, as well as two brothers, two sisters and three nieces. Their presence in his life shaped him into the remarkable man he became. He leaves to cherish his memory, Keith Elliott, Sharon Young (Wayne), Jeffery Elliott (Carol), Terry Weakley (Steven), Michelle Pope, Oscar Elliott Jr., Gerald Elliott (LeeAnn), Glenn Rhodes, and DeAndra Elliott and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
From a young age, Glenn's heart was drawn to Christ. He gave his life to the Lord at an early age and was baptized in the Ohio River, signifying his dedication to his faith journey. As a faithful member of the Old Landmark Church of God, Glenn found solace and community in the fellowship of his spiritual family.
Affectionately known as "Boo," "Bloops," and "Fauci," Glenn was beloved by all who knew him. His kind and giving heart endeared him to countless individuals, and his presence brought warmth and joy to any gathering. He had a passion for family, cherishing moments spent with loved ones and creating cherished memories that will endure for generations to come.
Among his many joys in life, Glenn found solace and inspiration in the music of Prince. The melodies and lyrics resonated with his soul, providing a soundtrack for his life's journey.
Glenn leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be treasured by his two sons, Joshua (KaShonda) and Jonathan (Ghada), and his eight grandchildren. His love will continue to shape their lives in profound ways. Additionally, he is survived by a special friend, Amanda, whose companionship brought him comfort and happiness.
Though Glenn's physical presence may be absent, his spirit remains eternally present in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the impact he made on all who knew him.
